Irregular...

I've been busy with school, cut me some slack. I can't blog when I have a ton of homework and tests to study for... ha ha, right.

  • I got my cyst removed on Tuesday. I don't really like it when doctors say, "This shouldn't hurt at all," when it really hurts like hell. Maybe I have low tolerance of pain or something. The orthopedics was across from a social security place, and on the other side of the orthopedics was another government building, and practically the entire side of it all windows. It was kind of cool since they reflected like mirrors, but I couldn't see inside. Makes you wonder what goes on in those buildings...

  • My braces don't hurt anymore! This is a very good thing. I can eat anything. Anything except apples. I can't bite down on apples without sheer pain. I also now have to put up with everything I eat getting stuck in them... Gross.

  • Track is over! No more taking the bus home/to a friends house and feeling guilty about it. I thought I had a pretty decent season overall. I am going to go to a gym that opened near by and *try* to stay somewhat in decent shape...

  • New cellphone charger... But only one. If you know my sister and I, we don't taking sharing too well. It's very... difficult. She always takes it, and doesn't give it back. I have to take it when my battery is beeping at me to charge it, because I always forget to get it. I, of course, am a different story. I always give it to her whenever she needs it, being the loving sister that I am...

Besides the fact that I am still currently jobless and broke (hopefully that will change soon enough) those are my updates. Today is half day, so I'm stuck home. Anyone doing anything interesting? =]

No Sleep.

It's finally break! Too bad I'm completely exhausted... I got like, no sleep at all this entire week. I'm not going to get any tonight either.

We got report cards today! I have an 87 overall average. I went up in all my classes, except math... But only down two points. So I guess it's not that bad.
Tonight I'm heading over to Carolines house to have breakfast for dinner with a bunch of people, then afterwards we're going to another friend's birthday party in Saratoga until around 12. I probably won't sleep for a few hours after that anyway. Like I said, no sleep. Saturday I'm chillin with Caroline all day, and probably going to church in the afternoon. Sunday is church, then youth group in the afternoon.

Monday and Tuesday is nothing. Hopefully some well needed sleep.
Wednesday I'm spending the day with the Wises.
Thursday is the Skillet and Thousand Foot Krutch concert. I'm bringing a friend of mine for her birthday. I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!
Friday I'm hanging out with friends for most of the day.

That was a rough picture of what I'm doing this coming week. Not extremely busy, but it's decent. =]

Oh yeah, and I have practice from 9-10:30 a.m. everyday. We have to keep a log of every workout we do over break. It's going to be fun!

In Suspension.

Just a few updates:

  • It's 4th quarter! Finally. Now only less than 8 weeks of school left until the summer. It's weird how time goes by quickly... But now it gets harder. This week has been the roughest, as far as tests, projects, and homework goes. It's like they plan to have it all due on the SAME DAY. Thursday. Not quite the end of the week, but far enough into it so that we can't slack off until Friday. Or you have to turn in everything 2 days earlier if you're leaving to go to Myrtle or something. Oh, and we get our report cards tomorrow during homeroom. Hopefully I did better this quarter.

  • I finally got a watch! It's kind of a big deal, because I've needed one since forever for track. It's pink and I love it. I'll be wearing it all the time now.

  • I'm BEYOND ready for vacation to start!

When Angels & Serpents Dance.

I got back from a meet @ Mohonasen at around 8:30ish. I ran a 4x400m relay, and an 800m. I got 4th, out of like 20 distance runners, with 2:47 in the 800m. My coach told me to get below 2:50, since I don't normally run 800's, so I think I did pretty good. 1st in the relay, but I don't know the time.
(Update: I got 72 for the relay. 3 seconds off my best time. I'm slightly annoyed about that.)

I also got a 98 on the 30 week math test. I'm extremely happy about that. Report cards come out on Friday... More details later.

P.O.D. came out with a new album yesterday. I like it so far...

I took this picture earlier at the track. I thought it was pretty!

Spring!

So, I'm watching the Terminator 2. I should probably go to bed sometime soon. I have a meet tomorrow, the first meet, in Colonie I think. I'm packing a bunch of food, so that I don't starve before I get home, which won't be until around like, 7. I'm running the 4x400m and 4x100m relays. I was just going to run a regular 400m and a 200m, but my coach changed it today. I'm not really looking forward to the 4x100, since I'm better at longer races... But it should be fun. Speaking of track, yesterday it was in the 60's! It was so nice to run in for once without spandex and a sweatshirt and a hoodie, you have no idea.
I missed American idol tonight. I was so bummed that I missed it. I hope David did well!

Oh yeah, I have this cyst thing on the palm of my left hand. Kind of below my ring finger. If you flipped my hand over, it would inbetween my middle and ring finger knuckles. I noticed it this morning, and I thought it was just like a vein or something, so I didn't think too much of it. (It's not huge, by the way. It's tiny, and you can only notice it if you feel it, or if you look hard enough.) I decided to go to the nurse after lunch, during science after some convincing that this wasn't completely normal. She said it was probably a ganglion cyst. Then she said if it doesn't go away in a week, I should get it checked out by my doctor.
It's SO weird to feel. It's spongy, but firm and it doesn't move. Gross!!!

Well there's about 30 minutes left of the movie, with 15 minutes of it being commercials. Why are commercials so long? Most of them are stupid, loud, and annoying anyway...

Long Day. Short Post.

To put it simply...

I got the top of my right ear peirced! I love it.

I forgot my usb cord at Carolines. My iPod is dead.

I'm eating pudding with whipped cream. I'm so fat.

I've done no homework.

I'm excited tomorrow is going to be 62!

I can't wait for the Skillet & Thousand Foot Krutch concert!

Vertical/Nine12 was pretty great last night.

My hand is much better.

Some people really bug me.

I have a meet on Thursday.

I'm thirsty.

I think I should go to bed...

Tales That Must Be Retold.

It's been a crazy few days, that's for sure. They just had a baby girl! I got a text from Jon at 4 a.m. saying how it's for real this time, so of course I couldn't go back to sleep. I was practically bouncing off the walls for the entire morning until finally he said the baby was born and in healthy condition. When I got to school I decided to see if there were any new events happening... That's when I first got it. The pop-up saying how the iPod couldn't connect to the server. I figured the server must be down, so I didn't think too much of it until about 2 hours from then in Global. My Global teacher is a computer geek, and sometimes uses the Internet to teach our class, so I figured I'd ask him about what was going on with the server. He said that they were blocking the wireless connection, to stop teenagers like me from looking up porn on Youtube or something. I, of course, made a sarcastic remark of my own, that will not be repeated. =]

Some other stuff going on that I was going to write about... But I'm thinking it's just not worth my time, nor my emotional capacity to blog about right now. So I'll write about my upcoming weekend:

- Tomorrow is an important day for track... So I can't skip this practice... Dang. =]
- Friday is a half day, so I *might* be going to the Wises to see Abi in the afternoon, and going with them to Paul's birthday party. Then sleeping over and spending Saturday with Caroline.
- Sunday is church, then Vertical/Nine12 is starting up! Should be interesting...

St. Patricks Day!

It was one of my longer days. The ones that seem to drag on, and it doesn't look like there is an end in sight. But that's a Monday for you, I suppose.

Today for track, we all wore green. To be festive, yes, but to get free ice cream at Stewart's as well. It was overall an easy workout (several laps around the track), and most of us ran about a mile to Stewart's afterwards. Once I got inside, I completely defrosted. It was so nice and warm in there. We were there for what seemed like 20 minutes waiting for a bowl of ice cream. Once we got it, the place was so packed that some of us decided to go outside and eat. So we went outside, and for some reason it was incredibly windy now and it seemed to have dropped 10 degrees. 20 degrees if you weren't standing in the sun. I'm pretty sure I froze my butt off. Holy crap it was so freaking cold on the way back. I was shivering the majority of the time until I got my blood circulating again. The ice cream was good, so it made the trip worth it, but I'm not entirely sure i'm going to run there next year...

It's Like We're Running Crazy 8's Around The Track...

I'm sore from the stomach, down. I started Outdoor Track, and I guess this is what I get for not running for a month, and probably from walking to school on Thursday. Yep, it was my first time walking to school, and thank God it was a nice day...
I was struggling to walk up the icy driveway to the road and I was, give or take, 5 feet from the road, at 6:55 with my sister a few feet behind me. Now, my bus driver is the nicest old man you'll ever meet. He'll actually stop (not slow down a little and then keep going) for you, and wait if he see's you coming. Even on Route 50! So I was shocked when he blazed past us... I assumed it was a sub. Since it's illegal to cross 50, we made our way back to the house to tell our mother the unfortunate news. She said what she always says when we miss the bus, "Well you should've gotten out there earlier..." But I wasn't expecting the, "I'm not bringing you to school. You can walk or stay home."
Seriously, I've only missed the bus once this entire year. That's something a parent says after 4 days in a row of missed busses. She actually had this super important meeting she had to go to... But still. So after going through my limited options of staying home with a sister I can barely stand and watching CSI for the next 6 hours, I chose to walk. I knew fully well that I would get a few weird looks, and that I'd be walking at least 2 miles. In all honesty, I didn't really care. It's better than staying home all day, and I would've missed square dancing!! ;]
Besides a few blisters on my right foot, and my butt being sore, (I slipped on some ice... No one was around, thankfully) I lived.

The ironic part of this story is that my bus driver actually saw that we were there and turned around and went back to pick us up...

This weekend I'm mostly cleaning my room, which I am in desperate need of doing...
Unless, of course, I go to the hospital. I doubt I'd be able to go anyway, but I can hope.

Track Meet @ RPI

Sunday I had to wake up at an unheard of 6a.m. to go to a meet at RPI, that lasted a very long 6 hours. I ran a 300m, 600m, & a 4 by 4 that I was dragged into last minute. I don't know what my times are yet, but hopefully they're decent!
From left to right in the top picture: Katie, Jessie, Sky, Christine & me. They're pretty much awesome. This was during the guys 4 by 4, the very last race of the meet.
I saw Paul a couple times too!
The bottom picture: Kayla & I flexing. ;]

Today, I'm planning on sleeping in until like, 10:30 or whenever. I don't have anything to do all day, so make plans with me!
Tuesday I have to make up a swimming gym class because I missed one last week. I'm not really looking forward to it. Gah.

Oh, I also changed the template of the blog. The other one was kind of old - and there aren't very many to choose from - so I hope you like it! I want to try to eventually get this off of blogspot, but first I want to prove to myself that I can blog faithfully for over six months to even begin to even think about it.
